Carr Center Cake Auction - Did You Order Your Cake Yet?!

Dear Foodworks Friends,

Thank you for your continued support of Foodworks Alliance and the women we serve. We know we recently reached out regarding our upcoming Murder Mystery Event on April 11 at A Taste of Ohio Wine, Bourbon & Beer (tickets and sponsorships are still available HERE), and I appreciate your grace in receiving a second message this month for an equally important cause.

As many of you know, the Carr Center Cake Auction is just a few weeks away, and our Recovery with a Purpose trainees are gearing up for another season of baking. We currently have a limited number of pre‑orders—thank you to those who have already placed theirs—and we are hoping to increase that number as we move into production.

Purchasing a cake is a meaningful way to support both the Carr Center’s incredible work in our community and the mission of our own program. Each order directly contributes to the wages of the women participating in our 12‑week workforce re‑entry training program, providing them with stability, dignity, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Spring is a critical time for us, and your support truly makes a difference. If you were already planning to participate in the Cake Auction, we hope you will consider choosing one of our cakes. And if you were not planning to take part, we encourage you to support our partners at the Carr Center—and, in doing so, uplift the women of Foodworks Alliance.

Attached, you will find our three offerings for this year. After experimenting with new styles last season, we are returning to our roots and focusing on what we do best: our signature Bundt cakes.

Thank you for your ongoing encouragement and generosity. Our community’s belief in this work is what allows it to continue.

Warmly,

Foodworks Alliance
